The Etching Gel(Acid Etch) enclosed is water based 35°C-37°C Phosphoric acid gel, used for etching enamel and dentin to increase adhesion of bonding agent adhesives to tooth structure and restorative materials. The gel is blue in color for easy identification against tooth structure.
Dispensing from a syringe through pre-bent small gauge needles, it offers precise placement of gel even in relatively inaccessible area.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Prepare tooth and cleanse the enamel surface tube etched with non-oil containing Prophy Paste.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Using the syringe with a dispensing needle attached, apply the gel directly to the tooth. Recommended etching time for enamel is 20 seconds.
Rinse off Acid Etch with plenty of water.
Do not disturb this surface.
Leave surface wet or dry surface with clean uncontaminated air, depending on the instructions for use for the bonding system you are using.
NOTE: On primary teeth or teeth with high Fluoride content a 60-120 seconds Acid Etchis recommended.
Rinse thoroughly for 20 seconds.
Acid Etched enamel should have a chalky appearance.
WARNING: Acid Etch contains Phosphoric acid (37%) and it is highly corrosive. If Acid Etchcomes in contact with hands or soft tissues, rinse off immediately with plenty of water.
STORAGE: Do not store at temperature exceeding
25°C and keep away from direct sunlight.
Keep bottle tightly closed in a well-ventilated area.
