- Easy to mix calcium hydroxide obturation material
- Dual paste system for sealing root canals
- Desirable long setting, allows ample time to seat GP point
- Also recommended for pulp capping
The tooth to receive X SEAL should be isolated with a rubber dam or cotton rolls. Carefully shape the canal(s), removing debris, flushing/rinsing with copious irrigants until it can be dryed with Paper points.
Carefully insert paper points into the canal(s) until adeqaute dryness is acheived, always keeping the tooth isolated and prevent cotamination with saliva. X SEAL can be mixed with a 1 : 1 ratio of base and catalyst from the individual tubes onto an ideal mixing pad. Depending on number of canals to be obturated the base & catalyst can be squeezed and mixed to any quantity but always remembering to keep a 1 : 1 Ratio Once mixed/spatulated your X SEAL is ready to use. Initially Lentulo Spiral can be used to deliver sealer to canal, with thin coatings of sealer on the lentulo. GP points can now be coated with X SEAL and Lateral Compaction technique used with the use of a Spreader and Accessory points. Continue until canal(s) are filled, and take X-Rays to ensure the canal(s) are thoroughly filled.
